Ryan Hubert graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where he received an MBA with a finance concentration. Due to his outstanding academic performance, he was invited to the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. During his graduate studies, he worked at Ratio Institute, an independent, non-profit organization working with food retailers, trade organizations, and other partners to accelerate measurable sustainability and viability in the food retail industry. He has extensive experience evaluating ESG, CSR, and DEI reports to identify gaps between performance and reporting. His work led to the development of the first ESG reporting framework designed specifically for the food retail industry. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from Santa Clara University, Ryan had the opportunity to work at a start-up in the heart of Silicon Valley. He was an integral member at Owl Vision LLC, where he established a company vision, created a competitive and differentiated product, ensured safe and effective operations, and provided excellent customer service. His contributions led to a doubling of company profits every year for four years. Ryan is passionate about working on projects and with companies to create innovative solutions to improve sustainability objectives and simultaneously achieve positive financial outcomes.
